125 Terrorists apprehended along border with Mexico

Border arrests

US-Mexico Border Easy Entry for Terrorists, Friday, 25 Jun 2010 08:42 AM

While Americans march against Arizona’s new restrictions on unlawful immigration, hundreds of illegal aliens from countries awash in Muslim terrorists tiptoe across the U.S.-Mexican frontier.

New York, N.Y. — According to the federal Enforcement Integrated Database, 125 individuals (From countries officially classified as state sponsors of terrorism) were apprehended along the border from fiscal year 2009 through April 20, 2010.

These deportable aliens included two Syrians, seven Sudanese, and 17 Iranians, all nationals from the three Islamic countries that the U.S. government officially classifies as state sponsors of terrorism.

Federal authorities also track “special interest countries” from which terrorism could be directed against America. Over the aforementioned period, 99 of those nations’ citizens also were nabbed on the border.

They were two Afghans, five Algerians, 13 Iraqis, 10 Lebanese, 22 Nigerians, 28 Pakistanis, two Saudis, 14 Somalis, and three Yemenis. During FY 2007 and FY 2008, federal officials caught 319 people from these same countries traversing America’s southwest border.

Some such characters were confined in Arizona, which recently adopted a controversial law that lets cops ask the citizenship status of those they suspect of other possible violations.

WSB-TV recently publicized an April 15, 2010, “population breakdown” of immigrants detained at a facility in Florence, Ariz. Of the 395 males behind bars, 198 were Mexican, 18 hailed from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

Perhaps these gentlemen simply want to pursue the American dream.

Worrisome signs suggest, however, that some may have arrived via blistering, cactus-adorned deserts so they could blow Americans to smithereens.

Texas Border Patrol agents discovered, along with Iranian currency and Islamic prayer rugs, an Arabic clothing patch that reads “martyr” and “way to immortality.”

Another shows a jet flying into a skyscraper.

“Members of Hezbollah, the Lebanon-based terrorist organization, have already entered the United States across our southwest border,” declares “A Line in the Sand,” a 2006 report by the House Homeland Security Investigations Subcommittee, then-chaired by Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas.

Even more disturbing are the uninvited terrorists and terror suspects that were arrested after entering America through our permeable underbelly:
• Mahmoud Youssef Kourani pleaded guilty in March 2005 to providing material support to terrorists. First, Kourani secured a visa by bribing a Mexican diplomat in Beirut. He and another Middle Easterner then hired a Mexican
• guide to escort them into America. Finally, Kourani settled in Dearborn, Michigan’s Lebanese-immigrant community, and raised cash for Hezbollah.
• Miguel Alfonso Salinas was caught in New Mexico near the international border in 2006. As The Washington Examiner reported, one week of FBI interrogation exposed Salinas as an Egyptian named Ayman Sulmane Kamal. Evidently, he remains in federal custody.
• Then-National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell said that in FY 2006 and FY 2007, at least 30 potentially dangerous Iraqis were found trying to penetrate America via Mexico. As McConnell told the El Paso Times: “There are numerous situations where people are alive today because we caught them.” — The Department of Homeland Security issued an April 14 intelligence alert regarding a possible border-crossing attempt by a Somali named Mohamed Ali. He is a suspected member of Al-Shabaab, a Somali-based al-Qaida ally tied to the deadly attack on American GIs in 1993′s notorious “Blackhawk Down” incident in Mogadishu.
• Captured in Brownsville, Texas, Ahmed Muhammed Dhakane pleaded not guilty on May 14 to federal charges that he “ran a large-scale smuggling enterprise” designed to sneak East Africans through Mexico into Texas, including “several AIAI-affiliated Somalis into the United States.” Al-Ittihad Al-Islami is yet another Muslim-extremist organization.
• Daniel Joseph Maldonado also has Somali ties. He was picked up in Somalia in 2007 during terrorist training. He was returned to Houston for prosecution. As Rice University’s Joan Neuhas Schaan told KHOU-TV: “They had plans for him to come back to the United States and recruit female suicide bombers.”

All this involves only the bad guys who the authorities nailed. Those who have stayed undetected after crossing the border to murder Americans remain, by definition, invisible.

Obama Care – Interesting statistics

A recent “Investor’s Business Daily” article provided very interesting statistics from a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization.

Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis:
U.S. 65%
England 46%
Canada 42%

Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months:
U.S. 93%
England 15%
Canada 43%

Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months:
U.S. 90%
England 15%
Canada 43%

Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month:
U.S. 77%
England 40%
Canada 43%

Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people:
U.S. 71%
England 14%
Canada 18%

Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in “excellent health”:
U.S. 12%
England 2%
Canada 6%

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want “Universal Healthcare” comparable to England or Canada .

Moreover, it was Sen. Harry Reid who said, “Elderly Americans must learn to accept the inconveniences of old age.”

SHIP HIS ASS TO CANADA OR ENGLAND !

He is “elderly” himself but be sure to remember his health insurance is different from yours as Congress has their own high-end coverage! He will never have to learn to accept “inconveniences”!!!

AND THE WINNER IS VERY INTERESTING!

The percentage of each past president’s cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet. You know what the private business sector is… a real life business, not a government job. Here are the percentages.
T. Roosevelt…….. 38%
Taft………………….. 40%
Wilson ……………… 52%
Harding…………….. 49%
Coolidge…………….. 48%
Hoover ……………… 42%
F. Roosevelt……… 50%
Truman……………. 50%
Eisenhower……….. 57%
Kennedy………….. 30%
Johnson……………. 47%
Nixon………………. 53%
Ford………………….. 42%
Carter…………….. 32%
Reagan…………….. 56%
GH Bush…………. 51%
Clinton …………… 39%
GW Bush…………. 55%
And the winner of the Chicken Dinner is:
Obama………. 8%!!!

Yep! That’s right! Only Eight Percent, the least by far of the last 19 presidents!! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business? They know what’s best for GM… Chrysler… Wall Street… and you and me?

How can the president of a major nation and society… the one with the most successful economic system in world history… stand and talk about business when he’s never worked for one?… or about jobs when he has never really had one??! And neither has 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers! They’ve spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs… or as “community organizers” when they should have been in an employment line.

Russian spy drama part two.

FSB (KGB) Security emblem

Something smells here and it’s not just Northern New Jersey; by Gordon A Hunsaker

Today the White House is saying that President Obama was “Very Aware” of the Russian Spy Ring before his pow-wow with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev last week. Today Russian officials calling the spy accusations as baseless and demand to see the suspects.

Here is what I am able to make out of all of the storm and fury of this story:
• The alleged Russian Spy’s are not charged with espionage—but with a couple of economic crimes similar to money laundering, and carrying and displaying false documents which gave false information as to the person of the individual carrying them, and failing to register as agents of a foreign government.
• They are not charged with espionage apparently because the FBI was unable to find that they succeeded in sending any classified information back to Moscow. What they did send to Moscow was public information such as what might be found in Mechanics Illustrated or some such information source.
• Granted, what they were allegedly told to do by “Moscow Center” in reference to US nuclear information, efforts in Iran and the intents and purposes of certain public officials would have been spying—had they succeeded in doing. The operative phrase here is; “would have been” spying—simply put, in the documents publicly available—there is no evidence that they did.
• At this point the only thing that we have to give us an idea of what has thus far occurred in this case are the two complaints filed in Federal court. Neither complaint contains anything in reference to successful espionage. That is; stealing secrets and sending them to Moscow. (Understanding that perhaps this has in fact occurred and will be made public somewhere down the line but at this point in time, there is nothing to publicly show that.)

In fact these “Spies” haven’t even been charged with attempted espionage.

Understanding that our government does the same thing in Moscow as these characters were doing in Northern New Jersey. (Though what they thought they could steal in Northern New Jersey is beyond me. Have you ever been to Northern New Jersey? Not much there but a lot of bad smells to the best of my memory.)

Now this bunch were so—humm, let us say obtuse, that the FBI were able to have infiltrated these characters and convince them that the FBI agent(s) were their managers.

(Something is not quite right there but I can’t seem to put my finger on it, but I have a feeling that the US is in the end going to be embarrassed by this little soiree.)

Adolescent killed by Border Patrol affirmed to be a smuggler

AP – Mexican federal police and forensic experts stand next to the body of 14 year-old Sergio Adrian Hernandez …

El Sol de Mexico (Mexico City) and other Mexican news sources, 6/25/10

El Paso, Texas – A 15-year-old Mexican killed by gunfire from a Border Patrol agent had prior arrests for smuggling people into the US. According to federal records examined by the Associated Press, Sergio Adrian Hernandez Guereca had been arrested at least four times since 2008, two of the arrests in the same week in February 2009. A Border Patrol agent trying to arrest a group illegally crossing the border over the Rio Grande in El Paso on June 7, killed Hernandez by firing toward Mexican territory. Witnesses said a group of people on the Mexican side had begun throwing rocks at the agents.

Bicycle thief caught in the act

Did you find yourself wanting to deliver a little street justice to some punks who needed a good ass whuppin?
I thought so… yeah, I felt the same way too, BUT taking such aggressive action would get you in more trouble than a bike lock is worth.
Have you come to the conclusion that in most cases you cannot count on “security guards” to guard anything or provide you or anyone else with security?
I hope so… because even the street punks knew the security guards would not do anything to them.
So if the security guards won’t do anything to detain a thief who is threatening to beat you up if you don’t take your bike and ride away, what should you do?
As hard as it is to stomach this, the smart answer is to smile, take your bike (the punk never stole the bike, he just cut the lock) and ride away.
The other answer is to do what you witnessed the bike owner do and confront the thief in an attempt to detain him over cutting a bike lock. You can see where such action will lead you…
Although I was quite impressed with his level of courage and confront, the bike owner showed more balls than brains.
This situation could have gone very badly for him. It could have escalated into fighting THREE street punks over a bike lock with the security guards doing nothing other than “observing and reporting” as he took a beating.
Fortunately, the thief was more bark than bite and decided to walk away rather than carry out his threat to assault the bike owner.
I loved the bike owner’s question to the security guards at the end regarding whether he should start carrying a gun?
My answer to him is, “YES!” He should get a concealed weapons permit, proper training, and start carrying a gun! EVERYONE who wants to be in control of their own safety, and never have to rely on “security guards” or the police to protect them should be armed and trained.
However, in this specific case, as it played out, a gun would not have done much good because you cannot legally shoot someone OR present your weapon to detain them over cutting a bike lock. Doing either will simply end up with YOU in jail.
Had the situation escalated to a point where the bike thief did in fact, carry out his threat and begin to assault the bike owner or the three punks decided to gang up on the bike owner, THEN and ONLY THEN, would the bike owner have been justified in presenting a weapon to stop their attack.
Even if justified, after the dust settles and you pay all your legal fees, you will still have to ask yourself if a bike lock was worth it. I KNOW IT IS NOT FAIR, but it is real.
We carry guns to protect ourselves and those we care about from the immediate danger of serious bodily injury or death.
This video presents some very good lessons. I hope the video and my comments enlightened you.
I also hope you make the proper decision to get armed and trained to protect yourself and your family for what lies ahead…
